  1. I think tourists should definitely see in Buenos Aires:
    * The Obelisco monument, because it´s an icon of the city, probably the most important.
*A tango show, because it´s an argentinian typical dance recognized all over the world; aside of being entertaining.
*”La Boca” neighborhood which is very colourful and attractive and shows them buildings, houses, restaurants and cafe´s of the old Buenos Aires.
*The Colon theatre which is considered one of the most important lyric theatres in the world, in which they can see different shows with the best singers, dancers and musicians of the country.
I recommend turists to visit Puerto Madero, there is the Woman´s bridge, another interesting point of the city. It has a beautiful view and there are very good restaurants there. San Telmo´s fair is another place they can go, lots of curious handicrafts (from rings, necklaces, paintings to clothes, bags and food) nice people and talented artists wait for them.

  2. I think tourists have to see:

The Colon theatre because is a historical building and has very talented artists.

They have to make the tour in the yellow bus, its a good way to see the best places in Buenos Aires.
Also they have to go to the churches, like the cathedral or San Francisco de Asís church, because are architecturally interesting and paceful places.

Other places to go are Caminito, for the culture of Tango and the original of the neighborhood, and San Telmo where they could see a porteño typical place.

Of course, they need a picture with the Obelisco because is a symbol of the city.

Finally the tourist have to eat in places with good meat, like "parrillas criollas", and for dessert a big cake with a lof of dulce de leche.

    - The "casa rosada" because it's the government's house so it's a very historical building and it's beautiful
    - The obelisc because it's like the symbol of the city in the world
    - The "caminito" and "la boca" because it's a tipical neighborhood of Buenos Aires and it's the "postcard" of the city
    - Puerto Madero for his modern architecture and the woman's bridge
    - The Palermo's lakes and the ecological reserve for the calme and nature
    - Recoleta neighborhood and his cementery where are a lot of historical people
    - San Telmo neighborhood to live the "true life porteña"
I think they also have to see a tango show (in la boca or in a special theatre) and go to eat a parrilla and drink some mate with an alfajor of dulce de leche!
For all these activities they can use the yellow turist's bus which is so good to go in the right places

  5. One place that tourists should visit in Buenos Aires and I didn't read above, is Tigre. Tigre is a town surround by 2 rivers, The Reconquista and The Lujan. You can take a boat and take a trip in the river. It is also know for its landscape. Unlike Capital Federal, Tigre doesn't have many buildings, so people can appreciate the sight.
Other activity is going to the Puerto de Frutos, In the past was knonw for being a big market which sell fruits and vegetables in a very cheap way and in big amounts. Nowadays, it's a very turist place. If you go you can buy furnitures of different materials for exa
mple. There is also many restaurants of traditional Argentinian food very advisable.
In Tigre there's also a big casino called The Trilenium, which has many show during the week. And th Parque de la Costa, which is a amusement park.
Tigre is a place where you can go which your family or friends, with activities for all people and ages.

  6. I'm not from Capital Federal, I am from Glew, wich is in the south of Buenos Aires, that's why I consider myself as a tourist, haha. I've always thought Buenos Aires was a normal city, with normal people and things to do... but I was wrong and I found out that last year, when one of my turkish friends asked me if I could send to him photos of my city. I thought it wasn't a good idea after see photos of Istanbul, but I promised I'd do it.
I was just in Puerto Madero, so I started taking the images with my cell phone.
I discovered amazing places walking along Buenos Aires, but for me these are the top 10:
*The Art District: It's a museum with a modernist building that exhibits the private collection of Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat.
*'Fuente de las Nereidas': It has a romantic and neoclassic style and it is in Costanera Sur.*'Puente de la Mujer': Represents a couple dancing Tango.
    *Boca Jr. Stadium.
*Tour The Eye of the Tiger: In the subtropical delta full of densely forested islands.
*Museam of the Carlos Gardel's house: Exhibit the cultural patrimony (the Tango, Carlos Gardel, the 'mate').
*'Teatro Colón': Where you can appreciate opera, concerts and ballet.
    *'Plaza de Mayo'.
    *'Palazzo Barolo'.
*'Calle Museo Caminito': Where you can learn about the history of the tenement houses, La Boca and the Tango.

  7. In my opinion tourists should visit the following places:
-The Casa Rosada, The Cathedral, The Cabildo, Plaza de Mayo, The Obelisco: because of their historical value.
    - The Colon Theatre: for it is the greatest opera house in Argentina. They shouldn't miss a guided tour inside it, its dome nor a performance.
    - Puerto Madero: it's a nice place to walk and have a lovely day. They can choose from its many restaurants to have a delicious meal.
    - La Boca: it is a picturesque neighbourhood, full of colour and history.
    - El Tigre - Puerto de Frutos: it's a nice area where to spend a day in the open air.
    - At night they shouldn't miss a Tango show, either one prepared for tourists or at a milonga where amateur tango dancers create magic on the dance floor.
    - If visitors don't have enough time in out city, they could take the hop on - hop off yellow buses, which take them to see all the landmarks of the city.

  8. In my opinion, as far as i know the city of Buenos Aires, i would highly recommend:
    - Puerto Madero. I think it's a beautiful place, where tourists can enjoy a walk along the river. There are lots of good restaurants too, and of course the iconic bridge "puente de la mujer".
    - La Boca. This neighborhood it's unique in the world. There is nothing like it! With all its beautiful and colorful houses, and its famous tango shows, nobody has to leave without visiting La Boca. It also have several museums; my favourite one is La Proa, a contemporary art Museum.
    - Malba museum. With an impressive permanent collection and a continuous stream of new and exciting temporary exhibitions, the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires should be at the top of the museum list for art lovers visiting Argentina’s capital. It currently has an exposicion of Mario Testino; for those who like photography, i highly recommend it.
    - Ecological Reserve. The Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve is a 360-hectare green area that runs the length of the wealthy Puerto Madero neighborhood.
    - El Tigre. Replace the bustle of Buenos Aires with the green countryside of the Tigre Delta! A popular weekend getaway for Buenos Aires locals, the delta offers lush scenery, a relaxing atmosphere, boat rides and a chance to see another way of Argentine life.

  9. When a tourist arrives to Argentina, people often recommend visiting the famous and well-known places of Buenos Aires like Caminito, San Telmo, Palermo, etc.. but in my opinion recommend villages or towns in the Province of Buenos Aires, such as Maschwich Engineers which is a village near Luján, it has restaurants which maintains field that once worked as taverns, this village have a typical gaucho style of our country and its people respect the culture and traditions as well as visitors. I highly recommend another location Lomas del Palomar Garden City is a known community for being the birthplace of important jazz musicians and rock groups, has a huge number of themed restaurants and picturesque shopping walks.

  10. Buenos Aires is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Like any other big city, there are plenty of things to do and know. If you came, there are some things that you shouldn't miss. Pay attention to the buildings. Most of them have some of the prettiest european architecture. Go to the important buoldings of the city, like Casa Rosada, Obelisco, Palacio Barolo, MALBA, they hace a lot of historial value too. If you want to really get to know our culture, I believe that there os not better place than Caminito in La Boca. There you can truly see our pasión about tango, and our love for a good asado (you shouldn't leave without trying one). If you want, near there is the soccer field of Boca Juniors, which you can visit or assist to a match to see our love of football. After all that rain of culture, of course that you will want to go to do some shopping. One of the best places for tourists is Florida Street.

  11. I think Argentina is one of the countries in the world that has everything, such as beach, countryside, mountains, and urban city, as Buenos Aires. I think Buenos Aires is really beautiful, there are many places to see and have a look at them, such as the european neighborhood of Recoleta, gorgeous architecture. Another place to go is Puerto Madero, really nice and modern place with huge buildings and the river across the neighborhood. Also you must go to the Club Atletico Boca Juniors Musuem in La Boca, one the oldest places in Buenos Aires and really a historical place where the Bombonera Stadium is situated. Also another place where you can go is El Tigre, near the river, to have a sunny day in family and probably go to the park Parque de la Costa. Also you can go to Plaza de Mayo where the Casa Rosada is, this is the presidencial house, where many historical facts of our story happened there. There are many places to go here in Buenos Aires, this places I said are the ones that I recommend.

  12. I think tourist should visit:
The Colon theater. Is an historical building and it have a lot of history.
Another place to visit is the Planetario. There you can learn about geography and in the same time you can have fun, because is a didactic way to do it.
Then I think that every tourist have to try the “Tourist Bus”. This yellow bus take the tourist to every important place here in Buenos Aires. From the bus you can see the historical buildings (like the pink house, the obelisk, the congress, the cathedral, etc.) , theaters, (like The Luna Park, Astral , etc) , famous places (like restaurants, bars, etc.)
If you prefer to be outside instead to be in a close place, you can visit Palermo´s woods, or you can walk by Caminito or La Boca.
Buenos Aires is a city full of history. Here you can see an historical city but at the same time very modern. You have a lot of options to choose! Have Fun!
